VoLTE  means Voice over Long Term Evolution VoLTE is mainly targeting on HD Voice Calls via LTE.  VoLTE has up to three times more voice and data capacity than 3G UMTS and up to six times more than 2G GSM.  So it is recommended to have a VoLTE smartphone to access HD calls served by many ISPs.
