Introduction
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called an emergency address speech, where he revealed to the country that 500 and 100 rupee notes are to be discontinued from midnight today. I know how defective decision it is but it is true and will be staunch decision of striking off usage of 1000 and 500 Rupee notes currency in India.

Why notes are being banned?
India has made a strict decision of banning regular 500 and 1000 rupee notes from circulation which is a result of finding 1.25 lakh crore black money. Indian government believes that by taking this decision we can hit black markets down and you would be least circulation of black money and fraud would not take place.

The prime minister said that black money and corruption have not only been affecting the Indian economy but has also helped finance terror activities been helping finance terrorist activities, and the new rule will help bring down both.

What are its benefits to Government?
There is no reason provided by the government for such immediate effect. However the decision was taken to prevent the illegal financial transactions such as fake currency, black money, corruption and money laundering which has been India as a whole for years. Removal of big currency is the first step in preventing illegal financial activities.

How new notes are looking ?
These are the first pictures of new notes.

2000₹ note will have "Mangalyan" printed on back.
500₹ new note will have "Red Fort" on the back.

What should you do?
You don't have to do like this below😂

The old ₹500 and ₹1,000 notes can be deposited or exchanged at any bank or post office by presenting any identity proof including Aadhaar, PAN card or Voter ID card. While there is no limit on depositing the money in banks or post offices from November 10 to December 30, only ₹4,000 can be exchanged per day till November 24.

Technological advances in notes?
Yes there is a major technological advances in these new 500₹ and 2000₹ denominations.
  • The Rs.2000 currency has state of the art indigenous nano technology to prevent black money use.
  • Each note has an NGC (Nano GPS Chip), which functions without any power source.
  • The NGC is like a tracker that is connected to a satellite which can detect its exact location.
  • The satellite can also detect the serial number of the note from the NGC.
  • It has been designed in such a way that a satellite will be able to detect the Rs.2000 currency note upto 150 meters below the ground.
  • If anyone tries to tamper with the NGC, the note itself will become damaged and, therefore, unusable.
Conclusion is corrupt officers will no longer be hidden.
